So glad I found Les, he's a really great guy and an even better driving instructor! It was the first time I'd ever set foot in a car before at the start of the year, but honestly with an instructor like Les making you feel so calm and at ease it felt like I had been driving for years! Always raises a smile with his sense of humor, and I always look forward to seeing him every week. I couldn't recommend him enough for anyone looking for automatic lessons in the Gloucester area. I'm forever grateful for everything he's taught me and helping me pass my test. I'm gonna miss seeing him every week. It's definitely been a pleasure. Cheers Les and all the best for the future 👍

So glad I managed to find Les for my automatic driving lessons. If I could rate 10 out of 5 stars then I would!!
Such a great instructor, always have had confidence in me from when I started driving with him. I have such bad anxiety, low self esteem and les always made me feel at ease and relaxed. Always up for a laugh :) his lessons are top marks, goes at your own pace until your confidence grows. So knowledgable of areas and test routes. Will not be disappointed when you book your lessons. You will know what I mean by such a lovely man, again thanks so much Les glad I passed with you by my side all the way :)

I just finished a one week intensive course with Les and passed. I have had some trouble over the years learning to drive as it didn’t come naturally to me, Les is incredibly adaptable, patient and experienced. I would highly recommend him.

Thank you so much Les!

I had the pleasure of learning to drive with Les over the course of about a month and a half, and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. From day one, Les was a sincere, patient, and supportive coach. I tend to get quite anxious in high-pressure situations like driving tests but Les helped me build confidence in myself, a skill that I now carry with me beyond just driving.

Les is a local instructor who knows the area and the test routes, exceptionally well. He makes sure you get plenty of practice on the exact types of roads, junctions, and situations you’ll face during the real test. That local knowledge is a huge advantage and really helped me feel more prepared on the day of my exam.

Les stands out not only for his calm and humble demeanor, but also for his ability to adapt his teaching style to suit how you learn best. He’s incredibly reliable; always on time and unlike some instructors, he never raises his voice when you make a mistake. Instead, he calmly guides you through it, making the learning process feel safe and encouraging.

Another major plus is that his rates are very reasonable compared to many other driving schools out there today.

If you’re still reading this, I highly recommend booking a session with Les. One lesson is all it takes to see the difference. Good luck on your driving journey!

I started as an incredible nervous driver and Iv had 3 other instructor before finding lez.
I started with lez having never left a car park with any of the other driving instructor, after 6 months of lesion, I have passed first time.
I never would have thought learning to drive would be so straight forward untill I found lez.
Learning to drive takes time and I was always anxious about spending so much time with someone I didn’t know for so many hours but lez is easy going and a pleasure to be around.
He was absolutely the best instructor I could have asked for.
He is clear, professional, reassuring and funny. He puts people at easy and creates a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Les was very attentive and always nice and calm which made a very nice atmosphere in all of my lessons. He’s very easy to talk to if you have any worries or stress about anything and very understanding. Because of him I have passed my test first time with only 1 minor. I would very highly recommend him to anyone who struggles with driving anxiety. Thank you very much Les for your time teaching me
